Antoine - Erstwhile co-owner of Chez BBQ. Highly temperamental French

chef, from Menton. Loves cooking with lemons, bien sur.

H. Dorian Straight (a.k.a.: 'Hank', 'Monsieur H. Dorian Directement' & 'Mister O'CLOCK Dorian Directly') - Co-owner of Chez BBQ and the restaurant's maitre d'hotel. Frequently obsessed with the bottom line. Said to resemble Gregory Peck, albeit with much less hair.

James DeVille  (a.k.a.: 'Jim' & 'Cousin James') - Chez BBQ's licentious sous chef, hired in the summer of 2006. Partial to motorcycles and questionable women, and wields a mean metal spoon. Think Anthony Bourdain, but with an edge.

Paco - Chez BBQ's head dishwasher, he is the native of an indeterminate country and has limited English language skills. Quite frequently required to perform humiliating tasks. Biscuit was Paco's simian companion, who met his demise during the filming of Chez BBQ's reality t.v. show. Click here to see pictures of Paco and Biscuit

Hari DeVille - Assistant Pastry Chef. James DeVille's spunky Baptist lay-preacher cousin and poster child for Hotter Than the Hottest Place in Hell Hot Sauce (TM). Seems to have developed a bit of a crush on Straight, but that may be waning with each passing day.

Jenni (Jeannette, to Straight) - Chez BBQ's pastry chef and the main squeeze of DeVille. Has a fledgling career as a kick-boxer. Recently became the mother of James DeVille's baby, Caliope.

Caliope DeVille - Daughter of Jenni and DeVille.

Jasper and BuckBuck - Kitchen help hired by Chez BBQ during a relatively fallow period for the restaurant. Usually work behind the scenes unless a scheme involving able bodied men is called for. Ten-year-old Pilar is somehow related to them.

Soozy - Hippie vegan waitress (and former girlfriend of Straight). May have left the restaurant under mysterious circumstances. Has returned under somewhat less mysterious circumstances, only to disappear again, leaving behind Straight's baby boy.

Johnny "The Baby" Straight - Son of Soozy & H. Dorian Straight.

Suzanna Carwright -Producer of Chez BBQ Reality T.V. Show. May or may not have experienced a romantic entanglement with Straight. Blackmailed Johnny Depp into appearing on the show, then fired him for putting Biscuit the monkey into the chili.

Henri - Formerly the headwaiter of Chez BBQ, until he quit on New Year's Eve of 2006 to open a competing restaurant across the street, which failed and then burned down. Hasn't been heard from since. Quelle domage!

Tony "Hands" - Local mobster who lost his hands as a result of a mob turf war. Enjoys rubbing his stumps together while scheming. Owns the "Gentlemen's Club" next door to Chez BBQ.

"Buzz" McCall - Former CEO of Chezbbq.com, Inc. Attempting to reassert control over the company. Also, self-proclaimed Saviour of the Bees.
